Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Onyx Studio ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit onyxstudios.co (the "Site"). We've written it to describe what actually happens on this Site, in plain language.

Information you give us

We collect the information you choose to provide, specifically:

  • Contact form: your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, business name, website, and the message you send us.
  • Marketing & growth assessment (quiz): your email address along with the answers you select. We use these to calculate your readiness result and to follow up with the personalized plan you requested.

You don't have to provide this information to browse the Site — only to contact us or receive your assessment results.

Information collected automatically (analytics)

To understand how the Site is used, we record basic, privacy-conscious analytics each time a page loads. This includes:

  • The page you viewed (for example, /services/seo) and the date and time.
  • The website that referred you, if any — we store only the referring domain (e.g. google.com), not a full address.
  • An approximate country, determined on a best-effort basis from your IP address. We do not store your IP address itself.
  • A random visitor ID saved in your browser’s local storage so we can count unique visitors without identifying you.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels, and we do not sell or share this analytics data. We do not track activity within our private admin area. The random visitor ID is not tied to your name, email, or any personal profile — you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request.
  • To send you the marketing assessment results and growth plan you asked for.
  • To understand traffic patterns and improve the Site’s content and performance.
  • To protect the Site against misuse and to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We will only use the contact details you submit to communicate with you about your request or our services.

Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the Site. These providers process data only to provide their service to us:

  • Supabase — secure database and storage that holds contact submissions, quiz responses, and analytics records.
  • Mux — hosting and streaming for the videos shown on the Site.
  • ipapi.co — used to estimate the approximate country of a visit for analytics. This lookup happens in your browser and is not linked to your identity.

The Site may also be served through a hosting provider that automatically logs standard request data (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability, as is typical for any website.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. We use your browser's local storage for one purpose: to keep the random visitor ID described above so repeat visits aren't double-counted. Clearing your browser's storage removes it.

Data retention

We keep contact and assessment submissions for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our business records. Analytics records are retained to track trends over time and may be aggregated or removed periodically. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time (see below).

Your choices and rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information you've submitted to us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To make a request, contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here.
